  32. About the nuke testing, performance verification of existing stocks
  33. is indeed a big reason for some of the tests.  I had heard that there
  34. were going to be some tests concerning tritium depletion (tritium 
  35. tends to decay and needs to be replaced in thermonuke devices, and 
  36. there are some interesting supply problems concerning tritium these
  37. days; it has always been hard to stock up on  ;-))
  38.  
  39. Anyone heard anything about this nuke engine that keeps getting 
  40. cryptically mentioned in association with SDI, etc?
